Filtration is a constant process for systems and equipment. Our high end filter meshes are particularly suited to filtration applications due to their separation capabilities and filter pore precision. Tough challenges in the pharmaceutical and fine chemical industry for filter cake washing and separation leave no room for compromise with these highly demanding process requirements. For example, a filter dryer fulfills numerous functions including filtration, displacement or filter cake washing, vacuum or convection drying. It is capable of handling moist filter cakes, sludge, liquid or dry cakes with a moisture content of less than 0.1%.
Nutsche filters operate consistently according to the same principle, regardless of whether they are manufactured from QVF glass, stainless steel or Hastelloy. The floor of the vessel houses a filter medium which can be filled with a suspension and the particulate material – usually consisting of crystals – can be separated from the mother liquor.
Our laser cut five layer Poremet or Absolta products are particularly suited for these applications, in segments with or without bend or in the form of circles up to 16m2 in size. Our products are suitable as OEM and/or replacement parts for existing filters manufactured by OEMs worldwide.
