On a global scale, far too much waste water is going back into circulation without being treated adequately or even at all. Even some existing plant leave room for improvement, in the shape of BOPP filter meshes.
The demands on filter media used in the treatment of effluent are diverse. High flow rates and exceptional filter performance in the face of heavy sediment load are essential prerequisites for every wastewater filter. Add to this a space saving design and good backwashing properties, together with minimal energy use during the cleaning process. Best case scenario is that the filter medium offers the longest possible service life.
Our Betamesh PLUS range with filter fineness down to 5 microns is the ideal choice for these applications - also available as a sintered mesh with 2, 3 or 5 layer construction for industrial water treatment, which adds a further level of durability. Our stainless steel meshes provide minimal aperture size tolerances, which guarantee extremely precise filter results. In comparison with other filter materials, they offer superior levels of chemical resistance in the harshest environments.
The application range extends from primary filtration through Storm Flows (CSO) to tertiary filtration and high performance Inside Out (multimode) filter systems, where the effluent flows out via a drum through our filter screens.
